For my senior project, I shot a documentary set in the village in Mexico where my mother grew up. A rural village is hidden in the mountainous canyons of northeastern Mexico. In the local school, the story follows the daily life of a teacher and her students.

Shot in 4 days. I was a one-person crew, acting as director and cinematographer. I won a Director's Award for Vision and Voice.
